Viewing Newly Posted Ads
Looking for something in particular? Let us do the work. You tell us what you're looking for, and when someone enters a related ad, Boat Owner's World will e-mail you. By using Ad Watch, you'll immediately receive an e-mail notification of all newly posted ads that contain information of interest to you! Cool.

Placing an Ad
It's easy. Simply go to the Place Ads page and the computer magic will guide you through the process.

Posting a Photo
This is easier than you think, but if you are new to the process there are some things you need to know. Here are the steps:

Step 1 Uploading a photo onto your computer:
There are four ways to place a photo image onto your computer: scan it, upload it from a disk or a digital camera, have your photo processor digitize it for you, or send it to Boat Owner's World to process. See Boat Owner's World Photo Service below.

Step 2 Sizing the photo:
When you upload a photo onto your computer, it is usually too large for the AD, both in size and dimension. Most scanners come with photo retouching software so you can reduce the size.

Step 3 Converting the photo file to JPG:
Your photo retouching software will also allow you to save the photo as a JPG (.jpg). This will improve the colors and typically uses less file space.

Step 4 Putting your photo onto your AD site:
Go to the Modify Ad page and put the file address in the browse space.

Boat Owner's World Photo Service
If you are not so adventurous or do not want to try this yourself, Boat Owner's World will do it for you for an additional $5 fee. Here's what you need to do.

Send :
A Photograph (Your photo will not be returned to you.) details of the product you wish to sell and

your check for $5.00 to Boat Owner's World, PO Box 3150, Champlain, NY 12919

A Completed Ad Form (Download and complete the Place an Ad form. If you include your e-mail address, we will send you a note confirming that we have placed your ad.)
